rule of law and research importance

сегодня почтой пришло:
все люди равны

Since President Trump’s July tweets, current service members have been allowed to serve openly, but uncertainty remained. The ban on trans individuals serving in the military has been in courts for six months, but the law is on our side. Four federal district courts have ruled against the ban, and two appeals courts refused to grant the Trump Administration immediate enforcement.

This is great news—and we should celebrate—but this win could be only temporary. The Trump Administration is not currently appealing, but may when the DoD produces a new "study" on implementing the ban. President Trump is still requesting a complete ban on trans service members to start on March 23.

Thousands [оценка что-то имеет за собой?] of trans troops who are currently serving have shown they can do the job. Yet these individuals and their units face continued uncertainty. This must be stopped. NCTE will not stop until the DoD evaluates service members on their abilities rather than their identity. NCTE will not stop until Congress passes a bill allowing the DoD to retain the most capable personnel.

The American military employs more transgender people than any other organisation in the world: around 15,500, according to a 2014 study, more than 6,000 of whom are on active duty.

Из какого отчета они взяли эту оценку не знаю.

ok, знаю откуда взяли оценку (но не знаю как считали)

а ещё я так вижу позже DOD поручил провести оценку RAND corporation и у них получилось "1,320–6,630 Transgender Service Members in the Active Component"
