Why did the Plague spare Poland?

The Black Death skipped certain parts of Europe - and that could be a lesson for today's coronavirus epidemic

Kazimierz III Wielki
The title in Latin was: Kazimirus, Dei gratia rex Polonie et Russie, nec non Cracovie, Sandomirie, Siradie, Lancicie, Cuiavie, et Pomeranieque Terrarum et Ducatuum Dominus et Heres.
