What parts of the city in Moscow are the best to live for a newcomer?

Below is a map put together by a group of researchers titled “Status-weighted locations”. They based it on the results of an opinion poll of Moscow residents that divided the city into five degrees of “status preference”.

Dark blue is “doldrums”, burgundy is “posh”.

(I live in the southernmost burgundy sector and I endorse the color.)
