ничего особенного, но Дима Воробьёв пишет уверенно:
In our history, changes seldom brought anything good to the mass of Russian commoners. Progressivists are not very popular among Russians, especially the older ones. Reforms were almost always followed by upheavals and wars, benefiting only the few at the top.
Soviet rule committed its worst atrocities in the name of equality, justice and social progress. Painfully aware of it, we in Russia feel much affinity with the saying “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it”. A more extreme equivalent of this saying in Russian can be translated as “Don’t touch the turd, so it won’t stink”.
