любопытно, наименее благоприятное (в прежнем смысле) положение в бывшем соц.лагере, и даже его восстановление не поможет
HSBC (Банковская корпорация Гонконга и Шанхая) report warns that ageing populations in much of the world will cause wages to go up, reducing economic growth - forgetting, as ever, that the economy exists to serve people, and not the other way around. The rather more serious issue is that governments will be less able to inflate away unsustainable public debt. Instead of running public finances as Ponzi schemes, ageing societies need their governments to support older people in being healthy, active and productive [повышением пенсионного возраста?]. All societies which had fast population growth in the recent past will have some serious greying to do; that's both inevitable and a necessary stage towards shrinking populations back to more sustainable sizes.
